Physical Therapist
Jen Milliken is from Silver City, New Mexico, and earned her degrees from Baylor University and Hardin-Simmons University. Though she initially thought she would follow in her dad’s footsteps to become a dentist, a chance to shadow a physical therapist in high school completely changed her path. Starting her sophomore year, she volunteered at the clinic and hasn’t looked back since.
Jen specializes in spinal and sacroiliac issues, as well as TMJ disorders. She loves getting to know her patients and learning about their lives because, in her words, “the better you know them, the better you know how to help them best!” Outside of work, Jen spends most of her time with her husband Eric and their two sons, Coleman and Finley. She’s very involved in her church and her kids’ activities, serving as a Cub Scout den leader, band booster, and active PTA member at her younger son’s elementary school. Between all that, she’s often running her kids to their various activities.
A fun fact about Jen: she has two differently shaped thumbs — one like her mom’s and one like her dad’s. While she didn’t always like her “dad” thumb, it turns out it’s perfect for the soft tissue work she does with patients. Jen absolutely loves being a physical therapist and cherishes the opportunity to help people feel better.
