Nicholas is a native San Antionian, graduating from Johnson HS and on to graduating from the University of Incarnate Word with a Bachelors in Rehab Science + a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Growing up with parents in the sports medicine industry, Nick knew from an early age that he wanted to heal through motion. Since high school Nick has been extremely active in sports himself. Holding titles like Cross Country Captain, 4 time varsity track & field, and Collegiate D1 Cross Country Competitor. As a constantly developing therapist, Nick is excited about continued training to hone in on a PT specialty niche.
When asked what he enjoys most about being a physical therapist, Nick made is clear that seeing people return to doing the things they love during their healing journey is what gets him excited for each day. Things like running with no pain and being able to comfortably squat to the floor to pick up a grandchild are one of the many things that warms his heart. Outside of work Nick still enjoys running and attending local community activities like 5k’s and triathalons. Nick recently married his high school sweet heart, and enjoys playing video games. When scheduling with Nick just know that his approach to care is always education first. As your therapist he knows the importance of navigating your pain and the challenges that come with it. Getting to know your limits and everything around your healing goals is always at the forefront of Nicks care. You can count on Nick bringing a high energy and optimistic approach to care. Telling stories, jokes and really getting to know you and your pain and how to help is the PT style you can expect with Nick.
